Seminar: Community Nursing and the Elderly

The Nursing Deprtment of the Cyprus University of Technology and the Department of Community Nursing of the Cyprus Nurses Association are organising a Seminar titled "Community Nursing and the Elderly"
The Seminar is organised on the 28th April 2010 at the Journalists Home in Nicosia
Dr Kate Davidson Co-Director, Centre for Research on Ageing and Gender, University of Surrey, Director of the Centre for Policy on Ageing, ex-Chair of the Gerontological Society of America Interest Group for Older Men’s Issues, ex-Secretary of the British Society of Gerontology and ex-President, ex-Vice-Chair of Age Concern Surrey will present the topic “Community Ηealth for Οlder People in the UK. Rhetoric or Reality?”
Dr Constantinos Phellas, Director of RUBSI, Dean of the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Law of the University of Nicosia will present "The Social Aspects of Ageing in Cyprus" based on the findings of the research conducted by RUBSI under the same title.
